The original Vettel trains had roomy, comfy, padded seats and stationary lap bars.

Plunging down one of the Blue Streak's famous camel-back hills. The original Vettel trains were replaced with the shiny silver, headlight NAD trains. In 2003 these trains were permanently retired and the restored Vettel trains were put back into operation.

One of the unique things about the Blue Streak was the map board. The train triggered a mechanism that lit up a light bulb on the board indicating where on the track it was. The map board is very useful as the coaster can't be seen by operators in the station. Part of the board was still operating in 2006.

Other than the top of the hills, a large portion of the Blue Streak's structure was hidden in the woods. The trains would emerge from the woods into the sunlite turn around before plunging back into the copse.

The TM Harton carousel had animals carved by Daniel Muller. The original outer row animals were sold in the late 1980's. Carousel Works in Ohio hand carved the replicas. The inner row animals are original to the machine.

Conneaut's dark ride was one of the last gravity dark rides left in the country. The cars were taken up a short hill by a chain lift similar to a roller coaster. After turning right, the cars zipped down a quick drop and up another short hill. The rest of the ride was powered by gravity as the cars followed a downward sloping track and floor back to the bottom. The cut away on the front of the building is where the dip is. The ride underwent several name changes. It's last incarnation was as the Devil's Den.

The beach was always open to the public. Although narrow, it still proved a popular spot on a hot day.

The live pony track was located on the former station of the Bessemer Erie Railroad and continued to attract youngsters right up to the 2006 season.

Kiddieland favorites included several old time Allan Herschell rides.
