![]() Photo Mug So, you've been snapping photos of your favorite amusement park, roller coaster or carousel with your digital camera. Outside of photo albums or scrapebooks, what can you possibly do with your favorite photo? Make yourself a mug and impress your friends or co-workers. Everyone will know this is your mug and it won't be used by a co-worker, (we hope.)
Materials : Directions: If you don't have photo software, you can use Microsoft Word. Open a new document. Click on "File" in your toolbar and go to "page setup." When the window pops up, click on "landscape" to change the way your photo will print. In your document, use the "insert" button on your toolbar. Open up "from file" and find your photo. Open it and it will appear on your document. Use the arrows on the box around the photo to make it the correct size to fit the mug. 2. Print the photo onto a heavy grade copy paper. Do not use photo paper. It doesn't have the flexability to fit the curve of the mug. 3. Allow the print to dry, about 30 minutes. Then take the paper insert from the mug and paper clip onto the photo. Make sure that the photo is in the center of the insert. Carefully cut around the insert as close to the edge as possible. Put your photo into the mug. You may have to trim a bit closer to the photo to make it fit. 4. You now have a fabulous mug that will be the talk of your work place. Follow the instructions that came with the mug on cleaning, drinking, etc. to insure your photo mug brings you pleasure for years to come. You can also change out your photo whenever you want to create an entire new look to your mug!
